Jake Lipman is an actress, writer, director and producer, earning accolades for her roles in How I Learned to Drive, The Mistakes Madeline Made (by Elizabeth Meriwether, creator of the Fox TV show “The New Girl”), Our Town, Books on Tape (FringeNYC 2011), Proof, The Drunken City, and her one-woman show Up a River/Down the Aisle (MIFT 2009, Strawberry One-Act Festival semi-finalist), to name a few. She recently played a well-intentioned 60’s mother in the film Harry & Judy directed by Jordan Michael Blake. As the artistic director of Tongue in Cheek Theater Productions, she has produced more than 26 productions in NYC. BA in French, Smith College.
