Cody began his career working as an assistant and then associate on numerous major motion pictures including Garden State (dir Zach Braff), Brokeback Mountain (dir Ang Lee), Capote (dir Bennett Miller), and American Gangster (dir Ridley Scott). He left the world of features in early 2008 to run the casting and talent department for America's Finest News Source: The Onion, which was in the beginning stages of getting their online web series The Onion New Network off the ground. ONN went on to carve out its own brand of satirical commentary, winning a Peabody Award in 2008, as well as countless Webby Awards to this day. The web series spawned two television series:Sportsdome (Comedy Central) and the self titled The Onion News Network (IFC), both of which he cast. Out on his own now for the past several years, Cody has cast numerous pilots and series, such as EUGENE! (pilot, Comedy Central), Stuff You Should Know (series, Science Channel), and Bad Advice From My Brother (pilot, Comedy Central). Recently he is wrapped up work on the first season of the new Comedy Central series Broad City, as well as a pilot for MTV titled Eye Candy and in a few weeks will begin casting for a new MTV series titled One Bad Choice.
