Sure, there’re already a few unions, guilds and associations out there for stage producers. And they run terrific workshops and events. But we’re producers, so doesn’t time = money? Wouldn’t it be faster to get information right here, on the internet superhighway?
We saw a need for more information, immediately accessible on the internet, to help producers out. So here it is!
Anyone who is planning on producing their next stage show. It’s free to become a member of this group, and there’ll be information here for newbies and experienced producers alike. We’ll mark up which is which, so you can find what you need.
Wow, you really ask all the right questions! What are producers interested in?
The simple answer: YOU! We are a community. Whether you are making experimental black box theater, or Broadway shows, you can give others advice on how to apply for grants, how to approach investors, or information about a myriad of other experience’s that only YOU have. We’ve already started interviewing the experts (yes, producers, but also publicists, casting directors, theater owners and more) – and we’ll be posting these soon on this website. Watch, learn – and participate!
